does the steam version have any extra content?

alright, cool updates!

the new sprites are great, and the game feels much better now

new feedback:

• change the color of the flag to make it more visible
• when something spawns, add a little particle effect of that color to make it more clear
• multiple orchards don't seem to stack properly (not sure about other item stacks)

I'm really enjoying seeing how this game is developing!

A few bits of feedback: 

• if you try to turn twice too quickly, you turn back on yourself and die and that's really annoying
• instead of 1 coin per bonus apple, I suggest doing 1 coin per apple, +1 extra per bonus apple
• it would be nice to have some little thing a the front of the snake showing what direction you're facing

I'd suggest focusing on in-run progression for now then, I think that even the current metaprogression just feels a bit annoying tbh lol

game looks cute so far, but I'm gonna be honest, the main menu is worryingly full of things that are marks of overmonitized mobile games, just a heads up

I found a boss but I don't think it's the secret one lol (also a downloadable build would be nice lol, super fun game!

yeah, if I make an update that adds more levels, I will make a level menu (but also I personally feel like playing through in one go makes the joke funnier lol)

nice! I love the custom elements you put in!

I'd love to see more upgrades, maybe unlocked at 2, 6, 19 and 14 minutes lol (I know that would be a lot)

also, a 3rd choice on levelup would be nice, good game tho

are unlocks saved when you close the game on the browser version? (actually I think they are)

not encountering the second weapon upgrade even though it's unlocked (nvm it's jsut rare)

Yeah it's short lol, I'm not good at writing a story so I wasn't able to make that many scenes

The game is cool but I can't figure out how to get the last three characters

I agree, downwell is an amazing roguelike and I always felt like it needed more content, so glad to see more stuff for the game

it's fine, I suggest allowing the player to skip to the level they last reached by the way

also, it says roguelike on the page, but I'm not seeing that yet in gameplay lol
