For a game made in a night, the art has a lot of charm—from the really cute intro (and outro) cutscenes to the enemies losing their clothes when defeated, and even Jessica’s pigtails swaying in the wind.

I also love the ending—Jessica is indeed hot.

Gameplay-wise, it’s okay. As others have mentioned, the player’s hitbox feels a bit unclear, and having nearly a third of the screen taken up by the HUD isn’t ideal. I think placing the HUD either at the top or bottom of the screen would make better use of the screen width.

I love the gameplay of shoot them up but you see sexy chests but like others are saying the unclear hitbox makes the game hard to play i did get past the first boss fight though.

Having a prompt at the start that says that Z is how you proceed would be helpful. Also the UI framework for the game is a bit wonky but also charming in its retro weirdness I guess?

Anyway I loved the game itself once I figured out how to control it. The art and sound reminded me a lot of Eversion.

really great designs! i love havoc :D
a bit difficult with the small area to work in but still really great.

Cute! This is a lot of SHMUP to create in one day, with multiple enemy types and boss fights (plural!) no less. Good choice of colours, too, this is very easy on the eyes.

Runs fine on Linux, for the record (using WINE).

In a single day?? That's a credit both to you and also to the STG Builder, I guess, but dang.

I had a very hard time figuring out the player's hitbox, but still, as a basic shmup goes, I liked it. Graphics are decent, character designs are fun, and this does in fact have both the moves and the shoots.  Nice retro sounds too. A neat proof of concept!

For a single all-nighter session this is beyond impressive! It's got an illustrated intro and ending, animations, a variety of enemies, multiple bosses and multiple stages. Everything is looking quite good and polished. I haven't even got a story in my own game, and I had a whole month.

The gameplay is fun and the difficulty feels appropriate. The enemies need suitably few hits to keep things balanced for how quickly they cross the short screen distance, but I often hit them before they appeared, because of this I didn't always get a chance to see the defeat animations. I think the action could be slowed down or the play area could be expanded to make the stripping mechanic more prominent.

The music and sounds compliment the game well. I like the whimsical world and characters, there's also some nice color coding happening to keep the visuals clear and distinct. Unbelievably incredible work for a single 24 hour session!

I feel like this stumbles into a common problem with character-centered shmups: the player is a large target with an unclear hitbox. The right-to-left motion on a playfield that is taller than it is wide tends to make this worse.

The visual assets are good, and the audio assets are functional! There’s definitely a basis here.

I'm pretty bad at these kinds of games, but this was a lot of fun!~
