I throw right handed and bat left handed. So that's what The Ump Show started with. The pitcher always pitched right handed and the batter always batted left handed. Finally, The Ump Show supports batting and pitching from either side.
This change isn't just superficial though. Release position and pitch movement both adjust when the pitcher is left handed. So pitches that have lateral movement will break in the opposite direction than they do for the right handed pitchers.
Now the gameplay shows a Settings + Pause button that can be seen in the gif above. When you click it, you can see an updated pause screen. This screen will continue to evolve as more settings are supported. Currently it lets you tune your difficulty and disable analytics.
This release is also the first release to actually do analytics. I wanted to get a better understanding of the game difficulty so added some basic metrics to see how accurately people are calling pitches.
